"to slow and begin to touch the edges of grief," digital photographic manipulation., dimensions variable.

My photographs originate inside photographs. Moving focus from the landscape to intimate details within. At the edge between macro and pixel, zooming in and widening view, I intend these digital photographic manipulations as questions about time, space, and our location, together, folded amongst it.

My preference is to install these works in large format. Whole walls, feet upon feet of color field unspooling. Smaller scale installations are fun as well. Drawing one tightly into the frames. For now, enjoy the expansiveness of the web.

It is next to impossible to create in isolation. I see the natural landscape, and my camera and computer and printer as invaluable collaborators in artmaking. Asking the technology to push the limits of its understanding of color and light helps to push me towards those boundaries within myself. Wondering often about the limits of others, the boundaries of others and, in turn, my own edges, the inquiry here using art is amongst the most precious curiosities I've found.
